1949 1 ½ ton 4x4 dodge power wagon model #b-1-pw serial #83913326. 440 dodge engine with mild cam. 12 volt electrical system. New c-3 automatic transmission. New air conditioning and heater. New 4-core aluminum radiator. Rebuilt transfer case. New power brakes; front disc, rear drum. Electric over hydraulic dump box with new hydraulic cylinder. 20 ton winch. New interior including gm tilt steering column, aftermarket instrument gauges, new seat covering and rug, and pre-wired for sound. New paint matching the original fire engine red. History: with less than 14,000 miles and garaged most of its life, this is truly a rare power wagon. Records indicate it was purchased new by the spokane, wa fire department. I have registration records from the fire department from 1957 to 1975. Records indicate it was sold to the second owner in 1975 and the third owner in 1985 with only 12,500 miles. The third owner installed the dodge v-8 engine, front disc brakes, positraction and dump system.
